I had always wanted to get up and take a walk to go and tour the camp. It had always been one of my goals to go and see what I could see and take some pictures of it. I took some pictures to send home than I took some pictures of the mud. It was pretty dry in this picture but still the mud looks pretty bad.

So I started out meaning to go to the education center to set up classes and realized that I should probably eat first. Since I was allready up and dissappointed because I was going to play ping pong the night before with a friend of mine I had met that was from the same state as I was. I should remember not to get really excited about something and always be prepared to be discouraged. I should just let things go as they are and just enjoy them as they come.

So I went to eat chow and got to talking with a really nice person who sat down beside me, they started telling me the realities of life and what it was like in the past compared to now at a camp like this. I learned quite a bit and I realized that I should think more carefully when it comes to reclassing.

So I left and just started walking. I saw the duck which everyone overfeeds and than heard the bagpipes being played. I thought it was such a nice day that maybe I should just walk and explore like I had wanted to do in the last couple of days. I had my sunny cap on and decided to head in a direction, figuring that I could get as far as the mosque and take some pictures at least.

So I walked and every where I looked there just seemed to be peacefulness and beauty so I took pictures and kept moving. I explored into the territories that I remembered seeing from the bus and sat down and took a picture of the bridge. I continued on hoping that maybe I would be able to get to the next bus stop to get a ride back and thought of taking pictures of myself moving through the swamp grass like I was in some type of adventure movie. I started getting far out and almost to the store, but than took a detour instead.

So I took some pictures of the cool area I could not see from the bus and watched the street sweeper go by. I just relaxed looking at the water of that fake lake and the birds huddled on the objects in the middle of the lake.

So than I figured I better start getting back cause it took me at least a half an hour to get to where I was and if I could get to the store. I was sure I could get back to work on time, turns out god must have been on my side because a bus just happened to come down the road at that exact moment taking a detour which they don't normally take. and picked me up.

So than I talked in funny accents to a guy from maine who had a funny accent too and we laughed and joked till we reached our destination. So at work I just bounced around and was quite happy cause I felt the day went pretty well.

That just so happened to be the time when they handed me the sign for all of our hard work on the sticky note set up, so I laughed so hard and they took a picture. I tell you my co- workers are so fun to work with! My sign says The Assessment Wall of Pain, and of course you can probably see why, one too many hours of writing on all of those sticky notes! All in all it was a day to be remembered as one that I would do over and not regret!
