I Often hear people say that they are bored and I say bored. I haven't been bored but maybe once or twice. You just need to be creative, if you sit and watch movies everyday or do the same routine of course your going to be bored. You need to get out there and think of things to do to keep your life interesting. That way you will keep a smile on your face and not look at life as being so dull!
Me, I like to have what most people would call the simple life. I am not into all of that gushy romantic stuff or putting makeup on and being like a lot of preppy girls. I am more of a tom boy and I like to do a lot of guy hobbies.
I love working with technical. If its got a challenge I love to do it. I also love to take pictures. I take pictures of anything and just about everything that catches my eye, theres always something to enjoy but not everybody knows what to look for. I strive to make the most of every day so that I don't just phase into one of those sleep monster moods that takes away my whole life and anything I could have done in it. I am teaching myself web design and outlook for dummies while taking some online courses. I would like to get my bachelors degree in Visual Communications.
Lately I have been working on a lot of photoshop jobs like taking things out of pictures and putting things in. I am working on a historian book with lots of pictures and have just finished a design for the general's coin. The trickiest part of making it was bending the text that wasn't really text but more of a picture than text. It was written in arabic, and I had to go and grab my neighbor who is an arabic translator and ask if he could write some text for me that I could use. It worked out great. I also asked him if he could write my name in arabic, he did and so here it is! I didn't know that they wrote from right to left. I just keep learning more and more everyday. I am starting to realize just looking around that there are so many different symbols that people can use to communicate messages. I have seen people use mud or stones or chalk and other things like that. You don't have to always use pen and paper to communicate a message. What happens if you come to a place where there are none. What would you use? That's why you got to be creative!!
You never know what your going to run into. I am always up to something creative. I Photoshop pictures where I fixed a few elements in the pictures. see if you can figure out where they are.
Than of course I always have my random acts of craziness where I find objects and pose with them or dress up like a crazy woman and ask people stupid questions or something
So if you think that I am funny you should meet my family, they are even funnier. We always have something to laugh about. I get most of my laughs from my sister Tiffany.
I grew up in a family of four but it always seemed like a family of twelve because that is how many people were always around the dinner table. We live with Jason, Owen, and Jordan and than we have friends who come over. Kim, Mike, Samantha, Josh, Matt, and other friends. So it's crazy but they are always welcome. We have a cat named Cookie and another named Cloe and kittens. I had always wanted to get up and take a walk to go and tour the camp. It had always been one of my goals to go and see what I could see and take some pictures of it. I took some pictures to send home than I took some pictures of the mud. It was pretty dry in this picture but still the mud looks pretty bad.
So I started out meaning to go to the education center to set up classes and realized that I should probably eat first. Since I was allready up and dissappointed because I was going to play ping pong the night before with a friend of mine I had met that was from the same state as I was. I should remember not to get really excited about something and always be prepared to be discouraged. I should just let things go as they are and just enjoy them as they come.
So I went to eat chow and got to talking with a really nice person who sat down beside me, they started telling me the realities of life and what it was like in the past compared to now at a camp like this. I learned quite a bit and I realized that I should think more carefully when it comes to reclassing.
So I left and just started walking. I saw the duck which everyone overfeeds and than heard the bagpipes being played. I thought it was such a nice day that maybe I should just walk and explore like I had wanted to do in the last couple of days. I had my sunny cap on and decided to head in a direction, figuring that I could get as far as the mosque and take some pictures at least.
So I walked and every where I looked there just seemed to be peacefulness and beauty so I took pictures and kept moving. I explored into the territories that I remembered seeing from the bus and sat down and took a picture of the bridge. I continued on hoping that maybe I would be able to get to the next bus stop to get a ride back and thought of taking pictures of myself moving through the swamp grass like I was in some type of adventure movie. I started getting far out and almost to the store, but than took a detour instead.
So I took some pictures of the cool area I could not see from the bus and watched the street sweeper go by. I just relaxed looking at the water of that fake lake and the birds huddled on the objects in the middle of the lake.
So than I figured I better start getting back cause it took me at least a half an hour to get to where I was and if I could get to the store. I was sure I could get back to work on time, turns out god must have been on my side because a bus just happened to come down the road at that exact moment taking a detour which they don't normally take. and picked me up.
So than I talked in funny accents to a guy from maine who had a funny accent too and we laughed and joked till we reached our destination. So at work I just bounced around and was quite happy cause I felt the day went pretty well.
That just so happened to be the time when they handed me the sign for all of our hard work on the sticky note set up, so I laughed so hard and they took a picture. I tell you my co- workers are so fun to work with! My sign says The Assessment Wall of Pain, and of course you can probably see why, one too many hours of writing on all of those sticky notes! All in all it was a day to be remembered as one that I would do over and not regret!
* SUNRISE *
I took some pictures of the beauty that I saw from the birds eye view and I thought I should share them so that you can see them.. I saw far away and many pictures I took stil had the fog setting on them. It looked like heaven sent these to look at and I was here to view the paintings.. I just loved to watch as each unfolded and more beauty was shone to me. Maybe someday I can fly over it and take some more pictures or see what most people are too busy to see. So I take my time and enjoy it while I can.. cause you may not get a second chance to view the same thing again. No matter how many times you take a picture of something there is always some different view of it or different look to it. It never looks exactly the same. Sometimes you take pictures of something only to realize how much you missed in that exact moment when you examine it. Sometimes you take pictures just to capture that eye catching event and remember it forever.. but if you never share it with anyone.. what good is it.. and who can enjoy it.. that's half of the fun.. so Enjoy!
Some days you just want to be the hero, you want to go on adventures and see things that others wouldn't. You want to have an exciting exotic life where you are the one on the missions doing what you see in the movies and going through jungles and going on raids.. you want to be the spy or the agent who is out there going for the thrill of a new and exciting adventure so again you have to be creative.
I went on a mission to seek out and destroy the enemy.. I traveled across many lands and took my trusty sidekick from the guard point.. I traveled through some very rough lands and than saw some very broke down places I found the enemy's hideout and I entered very stealthly.. Always watching my back and all around me from side to side. I would always be on the lookout for trouble. You never know when you will run into an ambush... moving like a cat.. I moved in and found my position to look out for the enemy. Through the broken window I saw the enemy coming.. and I waited. Waiting for the minute that would be my one chance to protect the treasure. I watched through the windows with my sidekick also standing guard.. we waited and when all was clear we investigated the facility to find that the toilet was so badly sabotaged that we could not even use it.. so we ventured on through uncharted territory and kept low around the barb wire.. we went across muddy terrain and through the bushes and than to a place of the white sand. We saw many neat buildings barely left intact and than proceeded till we reached the water point of peace where we rested to chat about our events. We traveled through peaceful deserted territory to see the mosque and than on to the village.. we stopped to investigate the dates and looked down the road to the next adventure of (IO girl and her sidekick) stay tuned for next time as IO girl goes on yet another mission!
(This was just a tour of my walk, but wanted to be creative.)
